lookin for a good java forum, figured why not java boutique? im just out of school, hired at a company doing java middleware and jsp frontend with oracle backend.

java is most definately my passion, my hobby is telling c++ coders that c++ is not a true OO language, then halting the flaming rant that inevitably follows, with the simple statement "but dont pointers violate the rules of encapsulation?" or a "but if you follow object oriented design properly, you never need multiple inheritance." ;)

anyways, just wanted to introduce myself :)

Hello, Mattman. You're definitely welcome here.

I still enjoy bating C-type programmers with tales of woe concerning such matters as garbage collection and just listening to VB programmers argue with each other as to whether or no arrays are objects... and then there's cost and portability to consider. Java ain't just the choice coffee:D
