You guys, absolutely, do not want to see my points – but this is human nature
– and this is OK. During more or less hard time ( I mentioned this already
in my early post) in all countries and all times there were people who tried
to blame other – take the Germany before WW2 – they said government did not
protect enough pure German from Jewish and polish - as result Nazi came,
those nations were sent in camps with absolute support of almost all German.
Take history of US the same time – US citizens (Japanese by birth) were sent
in camps also?! All these were done to protect “real/pure” citizens.

Best wishes lead to hell…

Andrew, as a European, your concern about this line of thinking is very understandable.
However, let me assure you it is not the same thing. We are not talking
about Immigrants. We are talking about temporary foriegn labor. I don't
even have a problem with those folks. It is the corporations who are circumventing
the system that was established. Many of them are practicing illegal hiring
activities. For the last and final time, I don't dislike immigrants, I don't
dislike the ACTUAL H1B IT developer, I harbor not one shred of ill-will towards
the H1B worker, in fact, to a certain extent, I feel sorry for them because
they are being exploited, badly in some circumstances.

I am angry at the corporations who indulge in unscrupulous practices, and
the congressmen who turn a blind eye.

The entire reason for my lobbying out here is to encourage American IT workers
to get off of their lazy, apethetic butts and write their congressional delegation
requesting that we return to the H1B ceiling of 65,000 in 2004. The increase
to 195,000 was supposed to be temporary, for Y2K mainly; however, there are
big corporations lobbying congress right now with their big dollars to keep
or even raise that level. With so many unemployed American and permanent
resident IT workers, that is unacceptable. That's it, no more no less.

Viva La Difference!
