I have been looking for an application for storing pieces of code for quite a while now and I can't find anything suitable for my needs. What I am looking for is somewhere to store commonly used sections of code, samples I have downloaded, etc. I have tried a few applications (Snippet Bank, MVCodeVista) but I haven't found anything very useful. (I am still experimenting with MVCodeVista but I have had very serious stability problems with it.)
Does anyone here have a good solution? I don't really care about the price (within reason of course), features are more important to me in this case. I have thought about rolling my own solution but I am really looking for something full featured, more so than I could throw together in a reasonable amount of time. I code in ASP.NET but I would like to find something that worked with a wide variety of languages (asp.net, html, javascript, xml). Also, I am looking for either Windows based or web based applications.
Any advice?
