ASP code on a linux machine?

Can I run ASP code on a linux machine? If yes, what software do I need to download to set up a linux server to excecute ASP code.
Or is the only place where I can run ASP code is on a Windows machine?

If you mean ASP.Net then you should look into the open source Mono project at http://www.mono-project.com/Main_Page
