Lead Windows/C++ Architect/Programmer
A recently VC-funded start-up developing an exciting Music 2.0 application is looking for a key contributor to join and lead its high-powered product development team. Seasoned C++ object-oriented software developer with strong development skills in Windows and cross-platform (Mac OS X) environments.
Required C++, UI design/implementation. Ideally, experience manipulating music files including use of Quicktime and reading/writing ID3 or equivalent metadata tags. BSCS or equivalent experience, plus 5-10 years experience in media application development. Good verbal & written communications skills essential. Bonus: experience with media players, music players or music-industry related applications.

Subversion
* Demonstrates strong knowledge of C++, object oriented design, and modern programming techniques
* Has an understanding of the subtleties of the C++ programming language
* Has demonstrated experience designing/engineering complex software applications.
* Has demonstrated experience developing high-performance, multi-threaded applications
* Must be familiar with least 3 of the following: Quicktime, iTunes COM for Windows SDK, ID3 tagging, Juce, XML RPC
* Preferably has experience with music playback programming
Must be willing to commute to San Francisco-based office (Potrero Hill/Dog Patch) every day.
Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
