Hey Guys, I was wondering, if any of you are using or planning on using Oracle Linux, and how would you compare it to other distros. Also, wondering, if any of you are using any Virtualization Software and what do you think of Oracle VM - Thanks

It is my understanding that the powers that be in my company are looking at this, but as of yet, no decision has been made.

Is your shop looking at this as well? What did you have in mind for porting over to it?

I don't understand, is there a dist called Oracle and you want a comparison between it and other dists or just the best dist to run under it Oracle DBMS ?
for the latter, I have oracle under redhat and it's pretty good, for me that's enough to just find a good platform and I don't need to test others, no time for that.

for the vm, I use vmware and it's good, don't know anything about oracle vm.
