Hi there,
I was wondering how you can add folder security to a Windows NT based account
without having access to the IIS? I would like to protect my mdb file in
some directory, but I am not sure how.
Your help would be appreciated!
thanks

When you connect to the web server do you authenticate? If you do you can
set the ACL security permissions on the file.

If you set NT permissions on the folder to a specific user acount and have
turned the account 'everyone' off, then you dont need to change anonymous
access in IIS as the authentication box will come up anyway.
If you have access to change NT permissions how come you have no acces to
IIS?
