Microsoft Lover...

First of all, without microsoft products 80% of the developers today would
not be developers. Hands down they have the best products and the brightest
people on the planet.
As for browser technolgy, everyone has a choice. Netscape or IE. Choose your
weapon. Most of the heavy development on the WEB is in Intranet technolgy.
This is where the enterprise needs to make a decision. What browser to standardize
on. As for generic Web or E-commerce. These apps are mostly content with
very little OLTP.
As I see it, Microsoft may well be integrating their browser into the products
they sell. But look at it this way, with their product suite you are up and
running in short order providing solutions to the enterprise without a great
deal of cost.
Very Important...Most of all this is just hot wind blowing. The proof is
products that work with workable solutions to make a difference in the way
the enterprise does business.
Thanks!
