Greetings....

I am a burgeoning web geek and would like some help as to how I can give
my website address it's own email. Instead of using

"Please email me at xxxxxx@hotmail.com I want to have an email address that
I can advertise as webmaster@xxxxx.com.

How the heck do I do this!?!?!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!!

You need to:
1) register a domain name (xxxxxx.com)
2) get your ISP to host that domain name and setup entries in DNS to point
to their mail servers
--or--
2) get your own mail server set up directly on the internet (you'll need
an always on connection, a static IP address, and mail server software such
as MS Exchange), and get your DNS server to point to that server for mail
records.

Does that help?
