New in setup web server

Hi, I'm new in web server setup. I hv already downloaded Tomcat, j2ee & JDK 1.3 for testing in my own machine (localhost) w/ no problem of the included samples. Now I wanna to setup a real web server and also setup Oracle 9iAs for further practice. Please advise what application server I should download for my own testing and if any things I have to pay attention.

It depends on what you are trying to achieve, but I prefer BEA's weblogic....though there are several others that you can load. A search on google will give some results, and I believe that some time ago someone discussed a comparison matrix of java web servers in one of the java news groups.
