Hi All,
Looks like there are some folks here who create Flash animations.
I think Flash is great when it's harnessed to help teach, make an illustration
clearer, etc. But I find it annoying when it's designed just to look cool.
Don't slow me down with that cr*p please--your web site couldn't possibly
interest me enough that I'll wait around for a slow loading Flash intro, just
to find out what, if anything, of substance your web site offers.
Here's an example that I consider good use of Flash: IKEA's How to Build BILLY
Bookshelves. To see it, reassemble the long url onto one line:
http://www.ikea.com/content/main.asp?tab=3&contentname=/content/furniture/spot
light/furniture_spotlight_billy_assemble.asp
Does anyone else have good examples to share? Or, for that matter, especially
bad ones?
