Visual C++

Do you guys prefer Microsoft's Visual C++ over Borland C++ Builder? I'm considering
switching to Visual C++ since there are so many more books available. I heard
Borland's compiler is faster and adheres to the standard more.

I used an old borland compiler for a while, but now am firmly onside with
MSVC6.
There is much more available for it, and I think once you're going, it is
more intuitive too.

The database support on the standard edition is relatively meagre but enough
for most though.
