Bitmap

Hi. Just wondering if anyone could give some good links for bitmaps. I
mean, I want some liks that can explain me how they work, what are
DIBs, etc, ect.... I have worked with it, but only have down simple
things (so, I'm not lookin gofr things like showing a bitmap, etc,
etc).
