not enough memory to update and open report

Hi all,

I'm getting the above error message when I try to open a report from a users computer. Any idea if this is something I can fix?

That's probably what I would do, too!

You probably have too many applications open and running on your desktop. Remember also that Windows opens up all sorts of underlying techie-type files, and can run out of steam doing that!

So the answer is, to shut as much down as poss. Rebooting will do that (or using CTRL - ALT - DEL to close down applications individually, but this doesn't always work).

Also, find out how much RAM you have on the machine, and ask IT (or your local shop!) about adding some more! 256 MB is std these days: 512 is becoming the norm.
