My problem is that I cannot get the cars to stay inside the "grid" no matter what I do. I've tried different methods to do it, the one I have now works "in theory" but I cannot produce the results on screen that I do when I run through the numbers in my head.
If someone could run through it and see if there is a logic error in there or if "in theory" just won't do it with this particular set-up, that would help a bunch.
You don't even have to spell out what it is, give me an idea as to where to begin and I will hopefully will be able to learn more and figure it out my self. Right now, I need some guidance becuase it's got me stumped. Thanks in advance guys!

no go zone
You could make a method, letting the coordinates know what area is inaccessbile, Havn't read your files have time to read them later, but some ideas, Make sure your bumper cars are on the grid.
I have included a link on that same page to download all the files instead of just looking at all the code..
Thanks for the ideas, I will look into that site. Basically, this isn't necessarily a game, it's just a project using random number generation and the different uses of classes.

I would like to have a go at your code but I am not able to get all the source files, two of them comes through, the others just 'appear' like this:
"You do not have permission to access http://theguy.8m.com/carclass.txt
Data files must be stored on the same site they are linked from."
You could zip the whole thing and mail it to me at:
