Help regarding image procesing in j2me

hi
i'm doing image processing in j2me.in tht i want to do some whirl effect on the image.I want to make only a particular portion to whirled not the whole image to whirled.I want the image to look like tht one in the attachment.please anyone have idea to do this please help me.I'm trying this several ways for the last weeks but i didn't get any o/p please help me

it has very little to do with wireless programming. It's a matter of using the right API, so I'm forrwarding it to the Java forum, just in case someone there has a clue.
