SQL Server Reporting Services Help

Hi

I have a quick question on SQL Server reporting services . I have to make a report using SQL server reporting Services and have to call the Report (.RDL ) file from a VB.NET windows form . There is a button on the form which user will click to get to the Reporting service reports . I have made the reports But How do I call the Report file ( .RDL ) file from the VB.NET windows File . I have the button made for the reporting services but need the code to call the Reporting services file

This coding is used for Loading report from Web Project. I hope you can change this coding to use in Windows Project also..

Thanks for the reply . I will modify the code you send to use with my Windows Project . I have a another question . I am developing this application for one of our client using SQL Server 2000, VB.NET & SQL Server Reporting Services . When we have finish development we have to install it on the client's computer . We do not want client to see our code ans SQL Store procedures . How do we hide the SQL Store procedure from the client when install the system on their computer . We would like client to use the system but not modify it as we have the copy write .

As far as I know, we can use two approaches for this case that u want.
1) Firstly, you have put one admin account on your database and then, you should use this account from windows applications when you want your application to connect with database. You should also remove all access acount for your database except the admin account used by windows application. After your deployed your application on your client's computer, they don't know the admin's password so that they are not able to see everything included in your database even your windows application can connect with your database using the admin account only.

2)You can encrypt your stored procedure. Check "CREATE PROCEDURE" statement in SQL Book Online.

I think approach 1 is more better.

Thanks so much for your help . I will try to set up our SQL Stored procedure the way you said . I have completed the reports using SQL Server reporting services . But it is running very slow . I have a main report and 15 subreports . I have added all the sub reports to the mail report . Now when I run the preview to generate the report it runs very slow . I have not deployed the report on the report server . We have same report created in Crystal report and it works very fast . Do you know if there is a way to tune up the SQL Reporting Services to make it work faster .
