Applet: How an object can be scrolled?

i want to move an object with mouse (not scrollbar).and get the current position of it..
if u can.. plz send a sample code also..

Are you talking about dragging something? What exactly is it that you are dragging, e.g. a widget on a frame, a drawn box, etc.

More information would be very helpful.

What type of object is it? Just a general definition of the term "object", like a shape drawn on the screen?
