I would like to know where I can download and test Visual Studio NET for free
download to test it...

You can't download anywhere. But if you send $10 shipping and handling
Microsoft will send you the .Net Dvd.

There were a number of Sept. magazines that
gave away a DVD with VS.NET... (you might find
one still)

When I found out it wasn't a CD I broke down and
bought a DVD so I could install it. ;-)

It is quite awesome, although I wish there was a little
more/better doc in some areas... and why did they change
all API's... oh well..
