Easiest book for Java Server Side Programming.
I am an novice Java Programmer. I do have web applications Development experience
with Active Server Pages, JavaScript, DHTML, XML, VBScript, ActiveX Now I
want to turn my development with Java Technology, I don't want to go for
Applet Development becuase the limitions it have. I want to start working
with Servlets, Beans, JSPs, JDBC etc. In simple all the server side programming
provided by Java. I told all my background now, I need a good advice if there
is any good and easy to understand books available for that.
Any help or advise will be appricated.

Ali,
Been there... I suggest you get a good understanding of Java as a language
first.
Two books come to mind, Beginning Java 2 - JDK 1.3 edition and Thinking in
Java 2nd Edition.
The Thinking in Java is available for download from www.bruceeckel.com
For Servlets and JSP, I would suggest Core Servlets and Java Server Pages.
I've also recently bought Professional JSP from Wrox. Seems a good one.
