My first bit of advice...don't use Visual J++. Microsoft's new attempt at a
Java like tool is C#...so I would switch to JBuilder, or Forte for Java,
etc.... Regarding web sites, there are several out there but you it would
be helpful if you let us know what you are interested in (Servlets, JSP,
Applets, Application development, etc...).

Tony,
Unforuately that is all I have to work with for java. I want to start with
Application and then move on to Web development. Personnally I would like
to just stick with just VB and VC, but I have to know everything in the VS
studio (a goal I set for myself). My next part is FoxPro.

What is wrong with you? Are you some sort of superfreak? Forget about J++.
Microsoft isn't even supporting it anymore! Get a copy of JBuilder...it's
free. Use that. Learn real Java.
As for Fox Pro...unless you are developing against legacy DBs, forget about
it! It blows! Learn SQL Server or Oracle instead...or at the very least
Access!

Mike,
No I'm not a superfreak. Where would I go to get these other java programs?
I know FoxPro sucks, but I still want to learn it. Some of our older programs
use FoxPro and still have to be supported. I already know how to use SQL,
ACCESS, and Oracle.
