hi all,
I am new to Java ..
can anyone give me a link to a website with a quick Java tutorial/s ?
plus : do u think learning C# would be usefull now (I wish the answer is
no:-) (I already know C++, and I feel learning Java sort of completes the
picture, but is C# needed to complete the whole picture ? )

There's a good starter tutorial on the Sun website:

I do not feel that C# is essential. It is Microsoft's version of Java and
it's a long way from being complete. Learn Java now - think about C# in
a couple of years.
