Research paper

HELP!!!! I am doing a research paper on software and I picked JavaScript
as my choice, but know I need some feedback on the history of it or the background.
please help

This is a Java discussion group. Not Javascript. Well, at least you have
one piece of info for your paper. :) People are forever confusing the two.

A quick search of the web should give you what you need.
