Trouble uninstalling active X Exe on application server
As I was unable to uninstall an Active X Exe on the application server, i
rebooted the server and was then able to delete the exe file. I then ran
the regclean utility on the server before installing again through the PDW
of VB 6. The install went through successfully, however when I now open DCOMCNFG
to configure the properties of my active X exe server, I see two entries
for my Active X exe server, both with identical names but with different
numbers as suffixes. One of them is registered as a local server and the
other as remote server.
How do i remove the one registered as remote server and how can I prevent
such occurrences
Regards
Naveen
