which is better?
i need to download java writting programs onto my computer. I have heard a few places to go, but am not really sure which is better, and what i really need.
I have been told to download Ultra Edit and then to get the comipler, executor and libraries from either NetBeans or from java.sun.com and get the J2SE 1.4.1 from there.
Is one place better than the other or does it not matter?

Re: which is better?
NetBeans is open source IDE for java; it will come with or without java SDK. however, if you want to use ultra edit, or any other simple editor for that matter, u have to download java SDK from java.sun.com

JCreator Pro is great for coding! Remeber, the PRO version, not the LITE. You can configure it so i searches for help directly to the API!!! COOOL!
