Search page for localized files?
Looking for some simple(!) search engine to slap onto a CD containing ten
very lengthy documentation files. Users will be on Win95/98/00/NT/ME.. so
the solution has to be universal. The rest of the documentation is HTML
based, so the search should be as well.
Is there a simple(!) javascript or some other solution that we could implement
to allow the user to type in a word or phrase from the main HTM document
window and have it search through and pull up the resulting file matches?
Again, the files are static, so if some sort of index needs to be built,
it only needs to happen once..
so the question is.. what's the easiest way?
