Creating a hit Counter for offsite web page
Please help,
I need to be able to create a counter much like you see used on auction sites.
What this means is that I need to embed code on a page that is stored offsite
that will call my site and supply an updated counter. Everywhere I look,
sample code is either in cgi or is for creating a counter for my own site.
I know how to do that. I need to be able to do this with asp in a microsoft
environment. Any help is appreciated.
BTW I've heard something like I need to embed an <IMG SRC="mysite/counter.asp">
on the page where the counter should be. I don't know if this is true, but
I haven't been able to get it to work.
Let me know.
Thanks,
Justin
