ASP and web host ?
Hi evreybody,
I use PWS on my local machine and make some page refering to a MSAccess database.
It work's on local, but when I try to put the same project on a web server
it doesn't work anymore. Could it be because the web server doesn't interprete
the ASP pages ?
What could I do ?
Thank for your help
Regards
Cyrille

Hi Cyrille,
Well, "it doesn't work anymore" is kind of tough to work with. What exactly isn't working? Do you receive any error messages?
Specifics would be great.
To begin with, you should make sure that the Web server is set up to parse ASP pages. Is IIS running on the server? Make sure it
is...

Hi Cyrille,
There are a lot of possible problems here. What web server are you using?
How do you connect to the data (dsn, command line). Your web server and
your test environment are separate machines? Did you set up a (for example)
the same DSN on the server that you used to test?
