Visual Interdev error: Unable to Connect to Server

    Hello,

I'm trying to create a new Interdev project on a server that is on my NT 4
    sp6 network:

local machine with Interdev: DEVSERVER (NT4 sp6)
    server on network: SERVER01 (NT4 sp6)

I can see server01 from DEVSERVER in ie5.5:
    http://Server01/someWeb

but when I try to create a new interdev project from DEVSERVER
to SERVER01 I get an "Unable to contact web server" error from interdev.

Has anybody seen this error before? Would appreciate any help to solve
    this problem.

    Thanks,
    Tom

I had your problem times ago.and I had to reinstall all visual interdev and
    my webserver(pws)
It depends on Ms Front page server extension.IF it has been installed correctly
you never see error message again.
