I posted this question earlier in the week but have received no response. Sorry for the repost, but I really need so guidance. If more information is needed than what is supplied, please let me know.
I hope some one can point me in the right direction on this. I am developing a utility that extracts part numbers from PDF files and stores them in an Access Database. This part work fine. However, I need to put the page number from which I extracted the part numbers, into the record field. This also works, until I get to pages that have what we call A-Pages. An A-Page is a new page inserted between standard page numbers. Inserting an A-Page eleviates the problems encountered when adding pages to the middle of a book.
The big problem I am having, is that I can get the output to read correctly for one page, but if there are multiple A-Pages, the last one is the one that is written out.
An example of the numbering that I need is:
2 (never any part#'s on the cover), 2A, 3, 4, 5, 5A, 5B, 6, 7, 7A, 7B, 7C
I would really appreciate any help that you could give me.
