CommonDialog control in Access 2000 form

I need help figuring out how to programmatically display a File Open window
on an Access 2000 form. I placed a CommonDialog control on the form, but
it doesn't seem to have any method that will display anything. I was expecting
it to behave similarly to the CommonDialog control in VB that has the ShowOpen
    method, but it doesn't.

Much better than using the control (it can lead to innumerable problems when
distributing to other workstations) is making the API calls directly.

Dev Ashish has sample code, courtesy of Ken Getz, as the first entry in the
APIs section of "The Access Web" http://www.mvps.org/access/
