    vbcr in labels .text property

    [Originally posted by scarecrow]

    hi all,

    weird question, but cant you use vbCR in a label.text under .NET?

    I just want to output text in a label on a new line each time and the following doesnt work:

    label1.text &= vbcr & "some string"

    ive also tried
    label1.text = label1.text & vbcr & "some string"

    and

    dim s as string = vbcr & "some string"
    label1.text &= s

    None of them seem to work!

    no prob to do it in VB6 but now... (im using VB code in ASP.NET pages by the way)

    thanx
