    Calling a COM Object (DLL) from ASP

    I'm trying to convert some VB code to ASP and I'm having a problem referencing
    DLLs. When I try to reference the DLL I get the following error: Active
    Server Pages error 'ASP 0134'
    Invalid ProgID attribute
    /LoginChk.asp, line 7
    The object has an invalid ProgID of 'UserMaintenance.cUsers'.

    Below is a copy of line seven in the LoginChk.asp page.
    <object runat="server" progid="UserMaintenance.cUsers"

    id=objUsers"></object>

    I cannot find any errors in the ASP page and I can access the UserMaintenance.CUsers
    from a VB project. I'm using NT 4.0 with Personal Web Server and the DLL
    is located in c:\winnt\system32. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    2 questions...
    1)have you registered the componenet?
    2) have you rebooted/restarted IIS ?

    check that out first.

    Also have you tested access the component from vb?
