Problem with the component Page Counter of IIS

I use the component Page Counter (Microsoft) to draw up statistics on my pages
    ASP.
Each page of the site calls this object with the opening.
On a development server, simultaneous calls to several pages don't make problems.

On another server (same OS), the call to several pages simultaneously,
and thus with the object in question, saturates the CPU and blocks the server!

Is it a server problem (patch?) or should this object be used only punctually?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Are you sure that it's because of Page Counter, you're getting the saturation
    of CPU?

Also by saturation, what exactly do you mean? Do you mean inetinfo.exe? If
yes, please refer to this article for isolating and identifying the rogue
    process -

Also are there any entries in the event viewer?

IMHO, there is nothing existing in the form of patch for Page Counter as
    such.
