    Resize a toolbar

    Hallo,

my programm contains a toolbar and is developed on a screen with a resolution of 1024x768. On a screen with 800x600 the toolbar is displayed in two rows.
How can I resize the toolbar?

    Thanks for help.

Might not be much you can do, as the video settings can adversely affect the graphics in ANY programming language.

You might be able to get the monitor resolution through the registry when the prog starts, and use that information to resize the buttons on the tool bar...that's likely the issue that causing the toolbar to take up too rows with the lower resolution. The buttons in that case probably need to be smaller.

I have no idea where inthe registry one might find hardware settings like that, or if the toolbar control you're using allows for different sized buttons...but this might give you some ideas.

    Try

    Debug.Print Screen.Width / Screen.TwipsPerPixelX, Screen.Height / Screen.TwipsPerPixelY
