Connect web with java

Ciao a tutti..
Devo fare un programma in java che si connetta ad internet (qualcuno sa come si fa??), si apra in un sito che mandi sms e poter inviare un messaggio..(non ho idea)
Non ho idea di come fare... qualcuno può aiutarmi????
