Data Base Help
hi frndz!
well i want to ask a question that i used to create a database in Microsoft Access then by making the ODBCAD driver for it i open connection in my java file and do use the data.
but the problem is that, whereever i have to deploy my software, i have had to make that BRIDGE from ODBCAD, every time if installed new OS.
can you give me any idea that i can run my database projects without creating a bridge, means can i embed all this process in my code.

Hi,
you could use a third party java-access jdbc driver such as JDataConnect
http://www.jnetdirect.com/products.php?op=jdataconnect
but you would have to pay for it, another method would be to change the
database to an open source one such as MySQL
Hope this helps
