Error creating Class
Hi,
We've managed to get our application deployed onto BES 5.1 Beta (Black
Pearl)..... however, it seems to be complaining about creating a class which
inherits from Log4j (Logger Class). The error we are getting is as follows :
==
[Wed Aug 28 12:54:21 BST 2002] stderr: ejbcontainer: java.lang.VerifyError:
(class: com/kns/utils/CLogger, method: timeRecording signature: (IJ)V)
Incompatible argument to function ==
This error did not occur when using Borland AppServer Version 4.5.1.
Anyone got any ideas as to what is causing this?
Thanks,
Tony Ogilvie

Re: Error creating Class
Found the problem here : the Beta version of Borland Enterprise Server has a
War called axis-samples.war - this contains
an earlier version of log4j, which our code was picking up even though the
correct version of log4j was in the lib folders!
Removing axis-samples.war resolved the problem.
