    getting a scrollbar to appear

    Hi, I am trying to create an application which generates a scrollbar when to much is on the screen. Most examples i've seen use a table object as a parameter for ScrollPane, but I'm not sure what to use as a parameter for this particular application. How can I do this? (My code is at the bottom) Thanks!

    Hi,
    your code is too long and in future try to put it as URL or as an attachment and try to describe your problem - it saves time for those who might be able to help. You hav eused the wrong constructor and you need to use this constructor :

    ScrollPane(int scrollbarDisplayPolicy)

    try using like this

    ScrollPane scroll=new ScrollPane(
    java.awt.ScrollPane.
    SCROLLBARS_AS_NEEDED) ;

    It should do the job

    bye
