Passing ArrayLists as a peramiter

Can I pass an array list as a peramiter, I am using that **** awfull blue J and I keep getting the message ArrayList can not be referenced from a static context.

Passing an ArrayList as a parameter is fine, it's just like passing any Object. Hard to say what the cause of the static context message is, but likely it has to do with what you do/don't have set as static and not the fact that the parameter is an ArrayList specifically.
