    Java development tools

    Hi,

I would like to know what tools are there for developing Java and J2EE applications
for both Windows and Linux? I have lots of experience in C/C++ but (shame
on me) none in Java technology

    Thanks

    Re: Java development tools

Eclipse, WSAD, ... . I haven't used others but I think JBuilder does and
    ... .

Now if you mean building an app that runs on Windows and Linux, pick a tool.
If you write a well written Java app then it will run on Windows and Linux
and Unix and Mac and the mainframe and AS400 and some handhelds.
