java mail
Hi
I have kind of basic knowledge programming with java, i have just written a program in java mail that requests input from the user to send a mail. I have put the smtp in as my companies mail server address in a properties file, but my code keeps throwing the exception unknown host.
I sent my code to another person in the company and it worked correctly on there computer on the same network. Is there any computer settings or rights i should have to enable it to work. Its really irritating that i have finally made my code work now i cannot play with it!
Also does anyone known any names of external smtp servers that i can send mails from through my code
Thanks
A
Ries
