interactivity for kids
I'm trying to design a page for young children. I'd like them to be able to click on an icon and hear an animal sound ( eg miaow) drag the appropriate matching graphic to it, then get some response.
What are the best choices for this activity?
an applet ( which one?)+ quicktime?
javascript ( which one?) + ??
any other suggestions?
I don't have Flash.
Thanks for any help

Writing With Symbols
This is an application but it's exactly what you are looking for.
Writing with Symbols 2000
It's a program designed to help children associate words and pictures. Hope this helps.
If not if you do some searching on JavaBoutique or JavaScriptSource you should be able to come up with and applet or a script or something. Good Luck!
