    add JButton into JList

    I want to know if there is a way to put a button into a JList and make it work. I can let it show the button by implementing the ListCellRendere interface, but the button does not work at all ... please help me

    You could write a ListSelectionListener so that when the selection changes, the event handler for the button is invoked.

    However, this isn't how you'd normally arrange buttons, what are you trying to do?

    You have to "Register" the button first to make it work so it performs an action
