creating an instance of Graphics
Hello everyone,
I could use some help. I'm writing an aplication and I need to create an instance of the Graphics object in a class. Graphics' constructor is abstract, so I don't know how to do it... When I used the Graphics object in Applets I "created" it in the paint method... but since this class isn't an applet, I'm lost. I need to draw stuff in a JTextArea defined in a different class...
Is there a way to create an instance of Graphics without a paint method?
