Question Is it possible to show Ms_Word files in a Java Applet?

    Hi!
I would like to show Ms Word files (*.doc) in an applet. I donīt know if it is possible.
I just installed OpenOffice in my computer and I could see how MS Office files were opened easily.
Since OpenOffice and Java are from Sun Microsystems, I think there would be a possibility.
My problem is not about the text, itīs about the images, font formats, etc.
I would appriciate any help or idea to investigate.
I would like to know if i am in the right way......

Not really possible. You could use the Jakarta POI to create a basic representation yourself:

    http://jakarta.apache.org/poi/

But this isn't really a solution...
