    Swing Popup Menus

    Figured out the basics of creating Swing popup menus using JPopUpMenu() within JApplet. Cannot get rid of 'Java Applet Window' status msg at bottom of popup when it is launched. Would appreciate a suggestion on how to eliminate it. Thanks in advance.

    If there's a way to do it, it'll be news to me too. I think it's out of our control.

    FYI, you won't have this problem if your applet jar file is signed.
