Lap Top Internet

Hi Everyone,
This is my first posting hope it all works OK.

I move around France. Spain. USA. England quite a bit so I am considering buying a Lap top.
I am puzzled on how I should obtain a Server.
How does it work do I have to have a server in each area I move in.
When I'm in the USA I move around in a 5th Wheel Trailer, on many of the sites they provide Internet sockets where you plug in, can I assume that they are providing a server or do I still have to have my own ?

I'm not so concerned about that part, as I'm sure I will find that out, but I am concerned about obtaining contact with the internet in these many areas

Are you just saying that you want to make sure you have Internet access through you laptop in these different countries?

Yes what I saying is I want access to the Internet in any of these areas with a Laptop.
I understand ofcourse that with my present computer I am using NTLworld as a internet provider, I just really want to know how it all works when you have a Laptop and you are moving around all these different areas.

I think satalite access can work if you can pay there ridiculous prices. I am not sure if even thats available everywhere.
