Display what is in a var on the page
I am a VB programmer and this would be easy to do but for the life of me I can't figure out what is going on in Javascript.
I have a global var. Referencing the initial value works. But I want a function to change it. That does not work. It works inside the function but does not change the gobal var. My understanding is that you can reference a global var from anywhere on a web page. I would assume you can change it too.
Any ideas?
What I am wanting to do is change text the page so any other ideas would be great too.
Thanks
