Question on syntax???

does anybody know the syntax for a RandomAccessFile seek() method and then if you do what is a good place to go or do you know what the calls for this method are..

i suggest you get the standard java 2 api - believe me, it's got just about everything, now i do have the api and i could probably look it up for u, although wut u looking for does sound familiar, but it's gonna take me a while to search for it and then explain everything to u, so the best solution is for you to get the api. you can get it from Sun, i THINK the site is http:\\sun.java.com
just look for it
